Most people smile and ask sheepishly, “Are we supposed to eat it?” If it is certified organic parsley, then the answer is “yes.” Parsley leaf is loaded with antioxidants and is a fantastic diuretic. The herb is a wonderful kidney aid, helping to get rid of kidney …

Cook time: 1 hr 30 min

6 Servings

Ingredients

Crust:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon fine salt

4 tablespoons cold butter cut into small pieces

1 large egg

2 tablespoons 2% milk

Filling:

2 small potatoes

4 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

5 medium carrots cut into chunks

1 to 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1 large onion finely diced

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/3 cup 2% milk

3 stalks of sliced celery

3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken, skin removed

1/2 cup fat-free plain yogurt

1 cup frozen peas

1/2 cup minced fresh parsley

Salt and pepper

Directions:

Start with the crust by putting flour, baking powder and salt in a food processer until the ingredients are combined. Add butter, one piece at a time. Separate the egg and refridgerate the egg white. Add the yolk and milk to the food processor and pulsa it until the dough comes together. Put it out on a lightly floured surface and flatten it into a disk, wrap it in plastic and refrigerate it for at least an hour.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Prick the potatoes with a fork and bake them directly on the oven rack until tender, which takes about 45 minutes. Cool them slightly, then break them into small pieces.

Add the chicken broth, carrots, and thyme to a simmer in a saucepan. In a separate pot, heat the olive oil and add the onions to cook until they’re soft for about 8 minutes. Sprinkle in the flour and stir until lightly toasted. Then, add milk, celery, potato pieces, and the warm broth mix. Let it simmer until it thickens for about 15 minutes.

Remove the pot from the heat and add the chicken, yogurt, peas, and parsley. Season it with salt and pepper.

Transfer the filling from the pot into the casserole dish. Get the dough and roll it out on the lightly floured surface until it is slightly larger than the dish. Get the egg white out and brush it over the dough and add salt and pepper on top.

Press the dough against the sides of the dish and put it in the oven. Bake it until the crust is golden brown, for about 20 minutes.

3 garlic cloves, chopped3 tablespoons soy sauce

1/3 cup water

Directions

Being a woman, I understand that our life is so jam packed leading to little time of our own, we end up gaining fat on our belly and all around it too!!

I get that it’s hard to go to the gym sometimes or even start a crazy diet with all our time consuming demands. Who has time for all that?!

Don’t lose hope just yet..

You can shed those pounds with a little bit of sensible eating and some gradual exercise.

If you want to start burning fat, add some of these fat burning foods to your diet.

Ginger – It helps dilate blood vessels to improve blood circulation. Better circulation decreases the amount of fat accumulation.

Fruits and veggies that are high in fiber – Eating fruits like, berry, apples, of citrus fruit help your body drop the fat while digesting. Try going for the raw fruits and veggies instead of canned ones.

Almonds – They are rich in protein and require a lot of chewing, making them a perfect snack. Taking time to chew it will trick your tummy to think its full

Green leafy vegetables – Spinach or any other leafy green veggie has fiber, vitamins, and calcium to help you lose weight fast. Having high levels of calcium helps the body absorb less fat.

Seafood – The omega-3 fatty acids and proteins in it to help burn fat away.

Vinegar – It pumps protein that break down fat so including it in your salad a couple times a day can shed belly fat.

Green tea – Helps increase your metabolism to lose fat effectively.

Water – It is so vital to losing weight. Drinking your 8 cups each day quickly helps you shed the weight and it does wonders for your health.

The best thing about all these is that they are not hard to come across.

Try Magic Herb’s Mega Thin Formula to suppress your appetite and help you eat healthier without the cravings!!
